Skills
Martin Thomas is a professional artist, specializing in illustration, design and 2D animation.
In the last few years, he's expanded his skill set to include voiceover work and broadcasting.
After graduating from the Art Institute of Houston with a degree in Visual Communications.
I kicked off my professional career as an inker and colorists for several comic book publishers, including Marvel and DC Comics.
In 90's I taught myself Photoshop (and later Flash) and began the next phase of my career working for videogame and e-learning companies.
I was in charge of the daily creation of infographics, web banners and maps at Strategic Forecasting, Inc. through the Iraq War until I left to become the Art Director at Options Publishing.
After that, I returned to my first love, animation, at Ignite! Learning and currently I work as the Flash Designer/Animator and Voice Talent at the e-learning company, Flatirons Solutions, Inc. (formerly InfoTrust Group, Inc.).
I still freelance as a poster artist and technical illustrator but also for the last few years I could be found reviewing movies and podcasting as the voice of "Leon" at Spill.com. While that website is no more I continue on as a co-host of DoubleToasted.com
